A pendulum motion of a pendulum clock is accurate but monotonous, which may lead you to a good sleep. You can make your own Pendulums which show not so monotonous movements or even unexpected movements, by using Pendulum Frames, at least two. These are DIY just for fun or magic or or mobile (moving) accessories or physics study (with or without a battery) or whatever your imaginations come up with them. You can buy two or more Pendulum Frames and a battery is not necessary if you do not want to play with a battery). Different combinations and different positions may make unlimited numbers of different not so monotonous pendulum motions. Gravity is used as major source of force (power, energy) as a peｎdulum clock a battery just helps it very partially to keep it going back and forth so the battery life is quite long.
